TALBOT SPECIAL RIDERS, INC.
Since 1981 Talbot Special Riders (TSR) has provided therapeutic horseback riding for mentally and physically challenged individuals in the mid-shore area. TSR is accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association to insure accepted and safe techniques in the implementation of the therapy.
We conduct 10 week sessions on Tuesday and Thursday in the spring and fall and shorter sessions in the summer and winter. Our riders require up to three volunteers each to assist them. Training is provided and knowledge of horses or disabilities is not required. Sessions are conducted at the Glendale Farm, 30485 Mathewstown Road in Easton, MD.
